FRIENDS OF BISHOP RIDLEY

Like most schools, here at Bishop Ridley we have our own PTA.

Information about our PTA:
  • We are a group of committed parents and staff
  • We meet on average about once every half term.
  • In our previous year alone we have raised over £6000.
  • Our most recent project has been updating the ICT suite.
  • Last year we contributed towards implementing interactive whiteboards  for each classroom.
  • We have also contributed money towards outdoor equipment, environmental garden, class trips, CD players and playground equipment.
  • Our main project this term has been to raise money for sun shades in both playgrounds.
  • Some of the events we have held are inflatable day, Christmas and Summer fayres, coffee afternoons, childrens discos and pamper evenings.
We have a noticeboard up in the front playground corridor window so watch out for  news of future events and meetings.

We are always looking for new ideas and welcome your suggestions. If you have any suggestions please put them in a clearly marked envelope to 'The Friends of Bishop Ridley' and your child's teacher will happily pass them on. If you would like to come along to any of the meetings  contact any of the committee members listed below through the school office:
