National Curriculum Assessment Results

Pupils in years 2 and 6 take national tests (known as SATs). The results for 2009 were as follows:

Key Stage 1 (Year 2)

Reading 89% at level 2 and above (23% at level 3)

Writing 77% at level 2 and above (11% at level 3)

Maths 88% at level 2 and above (19% at level 3)

Key Stage 2 (Year 6)

 English 90% at level 4 and above (33% at level 5)

Maths 93% at level 4 and above (50% at level 5)

Science 100% at level 4 and above (74% at level 5)

The excellent Science results reflect the efforts we have made to improve teaching and learning in the subject.
